Cost Reduction – Save money on more than just office supplies

Cost consultants can save your business a fortune and they specialise in other areas other than just office supplies and stationery.

Nearly all business in the UK need to lower their business overheads at the moment and buyers are under pressure from financial directors to find ways to reduce bottom line costs.

Working with a decent cost reduction company will allow you to see what you’re paying for the goods and services you buy but with the added benefit of them doing all the work. Often they negotiate better pricing and discounts for those goods and services and will take a cut of the savings made.

Cost reduction companies often have a network of suppliers which offer them high discounts for goods and services which are often much better than you could negotiate on your own, depending on the size of your organisation.

On average cost consultants can save a business in excess of 20-30% annually which is not something you can really afford to ignore, especially in the current economy.

Any good facilities or procurement manager will tell you, saving money and reducing costs is as important as good service, if things don’t run smoothly you could find the 20-30% saving could be costing you that in administration! Always check the credentials of the cost reduction company before entering in to any agreements to change.

Have you planned your cost reduction strategy for 2011 yet? Perhaps it’s time to start working with a cost reduction company if you don’t have time to do it yourself.
