The best office supplies companies

It would be a huge task for a new office supplies companies to reach the first page of Google especially when they are faced with companies who spend thousands even millions per year on SEO (search engine optimisation) this is even a BIG struggle for office supplies companies that have been trading for 20 years.

That doesn’t mean you can’t be found in the search engines if you use your initiative and common sense.

For many office supplies companies the sales process still involves research about a company which often involves an online search in Google. This will be no different for the buyer or procurement manager. It is important they find YOU right?! Many buyers who want to find a new supplier will often use different search terms other than just the basic high ranking keywords like “office supplies companies” so think about what these could be a note them down as possible KEYWORDS.

You can make your company website rank highly just by supplying information or informative articles to office supplies websites like this using your chosen keywords. Try supplying content to blogs rather than on website selling products. Blogs are often seen by search engines as authority sites by the sheer volume of information they have on them. My advice is get to know the owner of these blogs, get involved with them with a story perhaps. If their website has a phone number then why not ring them and introduce yourself?

As an owner of several blogs I’m always on the phone to businesses introducing themselves, not just office supplies companies! Suppliers are begging to think outside the box. I don’t see anyone in any industry as competition and would share my knowledge with people interested in embracing NEW ideas.

TIPS:
If you have a news section or blog on your website it is important to avoid duplicate content if possible. Although you might think press releases will fill your site with content you will find in the end it could do you more harm than good.

There are many text writing services these days and a typical 300-400 word article could cost you anything from £5.00 – £100.00. If you’re good at grammar and have a natural writing flare then you could write articles yourself.
